BIOGRAPHY

Shelley Spencer-Hellmich, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 15 years experience in the mental health field.  She has had extensive practice working with families and individuals, including adults and children.  Shelley has worked in a variety of counseling areas in mental health facilities.  She has been in private practice since 1990.  She has also continued an intensive level of training in Clinical Psychophysiology at the Behavioral Medicine Research and Training Foundation.  This training has prepared her to include in her specializations knowledge regarding mind and body interactions that can benefit persons a number of ways with wellness techniques.

 

Shelley is a graduate of Indiana University with a B.A. in Psychology, and a graduate of Butler University with an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy.

 

Shelley brings a sense of warmth and caring to her practice and believes in the power of compassion for health and healing.
